Saving You Money with
EcoSense
We’ll not beat around the bush, running air conditioning will increase you’re electricity bill. The main waste is when people forget to turn off the aircon when they go out. At Aircon Albir, we have been successfully installing EcoSense, a great little gadget that works with your air conditioning unit and senses when you go out.
If there’s no movement in your room for more than ½ an hour, EcoSense will assume there’s no one there and turn off the aircon.
This is a great solution if you’re renting your property in the summer and is much better than the old coin operated systems which were less reliable and stayed on even after the money ran out.
You won’t find EcoSense in the shops because Aircon Albir is the area’s premium agent for the system.

Expert AC Tips
Most people set the aircon to 16º thinking they will cool down quicker. It simply isn't true and what's more, you're doing damage to the system. The correct way is to set the temperature to where you want and let the system get there. If 21º is good for you, then set the system to 21º and leave it.
We live in Spain where water is scarce, so think about the waste water. Why not collect it and water the plants. In fact, the water is perfect for your iron because when is comes through the system, it is in fact distilled.
If you want to keep your air conditioner working at optimum, then clean the filters regularly. It's easy to do, takes 5 minutes and can make a world of difference.
If you think your old system is getting past it, think again! Along with a maintenance call, we can re-gas your system and have it performing like it was installed yesterday. We often see units which are 10 or 15 years old and a simple re-gas has kept the customer cool, and save the bank account.
Get your system serviced once in a while is always good advice. We offer a maintenance service to take care of this. By doing regular maintenance, just once a year is enough, you'll extend the working life of your system significantly. Imagine how you'll feel when its the hottest day so far and your aircon fails.
